TERMINAL PROJECT OF RUWAIS SULPHUR HANDLING

The project involves expansion of the existing sulphur handling terminal in Ruwais for GASCO. The expansion project will increase the present capacity by 2,420 t/d; work includes construction of a 300 m long, 12 m wide loading berth capable of handling 65,000 dwt panamax vessels as well as dredging of the acces channel and turning basin with an export jetty where Swissboring was involved for the execution of the Rake Pile.

The scope of works for EPC contract includes construction of two 1,100 t/d granulation units, an 11,000 t cylindrical liquid and solid storage tank, and an uploading pit and stations.
