Contiguos Piles Shoring
The contiguous piles provide an economical solution for shoring works for excavation to medium depth. This system is constructed by series of bored piles next to each other having centre to centre distance not more than the pile diameter plus 20 to 50 mm.
The contiguous bored piles wall can be used only where ground water is not a hazard to the adjacent structure and can be controlled through the dewatering system. Swissboring s experiences in this field are countless given the very high number of projects carried out during the recent years.
