BLUEWATERS PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE
BLUEWATERS PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE

2017 - Dubai, U.A.E.

The work consists in the production of 12 pIles in the water for the foundations of a pedestrian bridge that will connect Jumeirah Beach Residence to Blue Water Island, the artificial island offshore in front of the JBR coast. Developed by Meras Holding, the 'Bluewaters' project will be made of residential, hospitality and entertainment areas.

A 210 meters high ferris wheel will be built and represent the centrepiece of the island. It will offer a stunning view of the coast and of the major iconic monuments of Dubai, like Burj Al Arab, Palm Jumeirah and Burj Khalifa.

The square at the base of the wheel will serve as entertainment area and unique place for private parties, weddings and conferences.

Moreover, a big LED display fitted to the wheel will create an innovative electronic platform for movie screening, advertisments and interactive information.

Bluewaters will host an eclectic mix of shops and food stores that will offer fresh products in a traditional atmosphere reminding of 'market'. Finally, Bluewaters will include a five-star boutique hotel and various residential facilities.
