Shuqaiq steam power plant consists of four 660 MW heavy fuel oil fired supercritical boilers, a 380 kV substation, related seawater intake, flue gas cleaning and all necessary auxiliaries. It will have a genersation capacity of 2640 MW. The projects includes the construction of different structures such as storage tanks, buildings, storage areas as well as other facilities, appendices and other local infrastructure.
Trevi Ground Engineering made a consortium with Keller in order to provide the most suitable and economical soil improvment solution using combination of various soil improvment techniques according to the ground conditions and the foundation design criteria for every zone. This careful selection enabled the construction of shallow foundations directly over the improved soil without need for deep foundations or conventional soil replacement.
